ITBP Recruitment 2016 Head Constable (44 Vacancies)

Indo - Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) (Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India) invites applications from Male and Female Indian Citizens (including citizens of Nepal & Bhutan) for recruitment of Head Constable (Education and Stress Counsellor), Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted & non Ministerial), on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITBPF. The last date for receipt of applications is 22nd April 2016.

Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Psychology as a subject or Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education/ Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent.

Medical Standards:

(a) Eye Sight -The minimum distance vision shall be 6/6 and 6/9 for both eyes without correction i.e without wearing spectacles; or lenses;

(b) A colour blind person shall not be eligible for recruitment. If a person is found to be colour blind at any stage of service career, he/she shall be boarded out as per SHAPE policy in vogue in the Force;
(c) The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins or squint in eyes; 
(d) Must be in mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties and
(e) Tattoo- Any candidate with a small engrave/tattoo of name or religious symbol (size must be less than 1/4 of the particular part of Elbow or Hand of the body) on the inner side of the arms or hands is permitted for recruitment. Candidates having permanent tattoo on any part of the body shall be debarred for recruitment.

Application Fee: The candidates belonging to General and OBC category shall be required to pay ₹ 50/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favour of the authority for each post. Number and date of IPO should be mentioned on application form at earmarked space. No fee will be charged from SC/ST, Ex Service Men and Female candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects, in the prescribed proforma. The application should either be type written or neatly hand written with blue/black ink or ball pen on one side only, on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed at appropriate place on the application form.

The candidates should send their application form, along with fee (as applicable) and self attested copies of the testimonials addressed to The Inspector General, North Eastern Frontier Hqr, ITBP, Old A.P. Secretariat Building, Cantt Area, Shillong (Meghalaya)-793001 on or before 22/04/2016 (for all States except for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, and Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub- Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 29/04/2016).
