Educational Qualification:
Scientist ->
(1) Ph.D. submitted (Maths / Physics) from a Recognized University / institute.
(2) Experience in mathematical modelling and analysis of multi-format data with SCI publications Proven experience in modelling and analysis of processes related to sustainability/ disease/ healthcare with knowledge of computer programming.
Senior Scientist –>
(1) Ph.D. (Maths / Phy) from a Recognized University / institute with 2 years experience.
(2) Proven experience in modelling and analysis of environmental / climate processes SCI publications and knowledge of computer programming.
Technical Assistant –>
1st class B.Sc. (Sci) with one year full time professional qualification in Bio-Technology (01 Post) / Computer Science (02 Posts) or one year experience in data analysis from a recognized institute / organisation.
Application Fee: A crossed Demand Draft (DD) for ₹ 500/ drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of "Director, NISTADS" payable at New Delhi. The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate's Name, (ii) Candidate's Category, (iii) Post Code Applied For. The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad Candidates category are exempted from submission of application fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply online through NISTADS Website on or before 27/04/2016 up to 5:30 PM.
The computer generated online application (Print-out) duly accompanied by attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size self-signed photograph affixed together with Demand Draft (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope superscripted "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF Scientist (Post Code )" (In case of Scientist post) and envelope superscripted "APPLICATION FOR THE POST of Technical Assistant (Post Code )" (In case of Technical Assistant post) by post to the address: THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIES (NISTADS), PUSA GATE, DR. K S KRISHNAN MARG, NEW DELHI - 110012 on or before 05/05/2016. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application form for each post indicating the Code No. of the post. The hard copy(s) of each application must be accompanied by separate Demand Draft(s).
