Preferential Qualification:
Deputy Superintendent of Police -> A degree or diploma in Criminology and Forensic Science and also to those who possess National awards for Physical efficiency.
Assistant Commissioner (C.T) ->
(a) First Preference - A degree both in Commerce and Law together with a Diploma in Taxation laws.
(b) Second Preference - A degree both in Commerce and Law.
(c) Third Preference - A degree either in Commerce or Law together with a Diploma in Taxation laws.
(d) Fourth Preference - A degree either in Commerce or Law.
District Employment Officer -> Graduate in Economics / Education / Sociology / Statistics or Psychology and to those with Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science and Experience in Industrial / Personnel Management / Labour Welfare.
Knowledge of Tamil: Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil on the date of this Notification (as on 09/11/2016).
Selection Process: Preliminary Examination (OMR Method), Main Written Examination and Oral Test

(a) Registration Fee - for One time registration of ₹ 50/-
(b) Preliminary Examination Fee - ₹ 75/-, the exam fee exemption as per TN Govt. Rules.
(c) Main Written Examination Fee - ₹ 125/-, the exam fee exemption as per TN Govt. Rules.
