Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) invites applications for engagement of Hindi Translator on contract basis. The closing date for receipt of applications is 31st January 2017.

Qualification and Experience:

(a) Essential - Master's Degree of recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as compulsory/elective subject at degree level. (OR) Master's Degree of recognized University in any subject with English and Hindi as compulsory/elective subject at degree level. (OR) Master's Degree of recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory/elective subject at degree level. (OR) Master's Degree of recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level. (OR) Bachelor degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory/elective subject plus a recognized diploma/certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State govt. offices including Govt. of India Undertaking.
(b) Desirable - 02 years experience in translation work of officials documents. Knowledge of Computer. Knowledge of Marathi.
