Job Description:  

• Write/execute test cases under the direction of project/test team
• Develop utility scripts that will aid in analysis and/or automation of test cases
• Participate in, or work on, carrying out root-cause for anomalies identified during testing
• Log/update issues with detailed description and evidence, under the direction of test team
• Generate or prepare test status reports as required, under the direction of test team

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, preferably an OO one
• Knowledge of SQL to write basic database queries
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel etc.)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, with 60% minimum from SSLC through to graduation

Desired Profile:

• Knowledge of, or hands-on experience working on Unix systems
• Knowledge of, or experience in developing shell scripts
• Knowledge of, or exposure to at least one RDBMS system (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL etc.)
