Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University University invites applications, on the prescribed format, to fill up the following posts for University School of Architecture and Planning (USAP) purely on temporary and contract basis as Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors for the academic session 2015-16 or till vacant posts are utilized for direct recruitment, whichever is earlier. The last date for submission of applications is 14th July 2015.

Professor	02	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; AND Master's Degree in Architecture OR Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; AND First Class Master's Degree in Architecture OR Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; AND Ph.D. in Architecture (Desirable - Ph.D. in Architecture OR Published work in referred journals OR significant professional work which can be considered equivalent to Ph.D.) 13 Years Teaching Experience.
Associate Professor	06	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; AND Master's Degree in Architecture OR Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; AND First Class Master's Degree in Architecture OR Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; AND Ph.D. in Architecture. 08 Years Teaching Experience.
Assistant Professor	07	First Class Bachelor's Degree in Architecture OR Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; AND First Class Master's Degree in Architecture. Desirable - One Year Teaching Experience as Visiting Teacher.

Discipline wise Vacancies: Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/ Information Technology (IT) - 07, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) - 05, Mechanical & Automation Engineering (MAE) - 02, Electrical Engineering (EE) – 01.

Eligibility Qualification: Post Graduate with a first class or equivalent grade in relevant discipline. For the Candidates not having qualification of M.Tech., a Doctoral Degree is a must for the post of Assistant Professor (Contract). Regarding NET, UGC guidelines shall be followed wherever applicable from time to time.
