Educational Qualification & Experience:
Category-I Trainee -> Diploma in Concerned Discipline (except Chemistry Discipline). Chemistry - B.Sc. with Chemistry as Principal and Physics/ Mathematics/ Biology as subsidiary.
Category-II Trainee -> Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science and Maths with ITI certificate in required trade.
Station Officer -> Passed SSC (Matriculation with +2) or equivalent + Certificate of Station Officer’s course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London. Minimum experience of 5 years in a post not below the rank of Sub-Officer in a well established whole time fire services organisation is essential.
Sub Officer -> SSC or equivalent + Sub Officer’s Course from National Fire Services College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre. Persons with valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence will be given preference. 5 years experience as Leading Fireman OR 8 years experience as Fireman/Driver-cum-Operator in a recognized Civil/ Industrial Fire Service Station.
Technician/D (Crane Operator) -> Minimum 60 % marks in SSC OR HSC with Science & Maths. Experience in Operation and Maintenance of Coles / TIL / Escorts Tyre Mounted Cranes, Tata P&H Crawler Crane, 35 MT Tractor Trailer and Forklifts (Electrical & Diesel Operated) in a reputed Industry / Organisation. Minimum 4 years of experience for Technician/C and Minimum 8 years of experience for Technician/D.
Technician/D (Mechanic cum Dozer operator) -> Minimum 60 % marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Mathematics + Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic of one year duration. Experience in Operation and Maintenance of 1000 KVA Diesel Generator and BEML Dozer is essential. Minimum 4 years experience for Technician/C and Minimum 8 years of experience for Technician/D.
Selection Process: Written Examination (Online / Offline), Trade Test and Interview. [Written Exam centres - Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Baroda, Kota, Bhubaneswar]
Application Fee: Rs.20/- for General and OBC Category; SC/ST, Women, Ex-servicemen and Physically Challenged persons are exempted from the fee.
