Job Responsibilities:
- Understand the customer requirements and product definition with R/D team
- Design and implement the test cases
- Execute manual and semi-automated tests
- Ensure the product quality in the whole product lifecycle
- Work with R/D team to continuously improve the software development process and testing tools
Essential Qualification:
- 0 to 2 year’s Expertise / Work Experience in software.
- Testing and Quality:
- Knowledge of test processes
- Knowledge of Defect management and other test tools
- Knowledge of Test Design / Test Coverage techniques
- Software Development – General:
- Knowledge of version control applications like MS Team Foundation or alike
- Knowledge of Programming Languages (C/C++/C#)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (MS Powershell, Perl etc)
- General Computing Awareness:
- Basic knowledge of Computer hardware, networking concepts, and windows administrative tasks
- Demonstrated strong Communication skills, initiative, ownership, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Demonstrated Judgment and Decision Making skills
- Planning: Good time management skills
- B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Systems from reputed Engineering Institutes
Desired Qualification:
- Test & Measurement domain knowledge: Basic electronics principles, Family of instruments, Set up basic measurements using front Panel, Make basic measurements
- Awareness of testing in rapid development environment using Agile Methods
- Awareness of processes like SEI CMM, CMMI, 6-Sigma, Lean thinking etc.
- Demonstrated working ability with world-wide groups and across teams of engineers to achieve objectives.
