IUAC Recruitment 2015 JRF, SRF

Application are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Department of Atomic Energy (DAR-BRNS) funded research project entitled "Development of Photo injector based electron gun to produce electron beam of 5 MeV suitable for a free electron laser (FEL)" to be implemented at Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC).

Educational Qualifications:

JRF -> M.Sc. (Physics/Applied physics) / M.Tech (Accelerator Physics/ Engineering Physics/ Nuclear Science) with minimum 60% marks. NET/GATE qualified candidate will be preferred for the post of JRF.

SRF -> M.Sc. (Physics/Applied physics) / M.Tech (Accelerator Physics/ Engineering Physics/ Nuclear Science) with minimum 60% marks. NET/GATE qualified candidate will be preferred for the post of SRF. Minimum two years of research experiences in the field of Accelerator physics or other related areas are desirable.

The candidate will be required to carry out research at IUAC, New Delhi in the field of Free Electron Laser and will be encouraged to work for his/her Ph.D. Application on plain paper along with CV (giving educational details, address of communication, e-mail, phone/mobile no.) and supporting documents may be sent by post and or e-mail to DR.
