NIPGR Recruitment 2015 Scientists, Technical and Administrative (15 Vacancies)

National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), New Delhi invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment of following Staff Scientists, Technical Staff and Administrative Staff on Direct Recruitment basis. The last date for submission of applications is 26th October 2015.

Educational Qualifications:

Staff Scientists -> Applicant should have a Ph.D. with excellent academic credentials along with the track record of scientific productivity evidenced by publications/patents/products in the frontier areas of Plant Biology such as, Computational Biology, Genome Analysis and Molecular Mapping, Molecular Mechanism of Abiotic Stress Responses, Nutritional Genomics, Plant Development and Architecture, Plant Immunity, Molecular Breeding, Transgenic for crop improvement and other emerging areas based on plant genomics.

Technical Staff Grade-I -> M.Sc or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience  OR B.Sc. or equivalent with 10 years relevant experience.

Technical Staff Grade II -> M.Sc or equivalent qualification with 1 year relevant experience OR B.Sc. with 5 years relevant experience (OR) Intermediate plus 3 years Diploma in Engineering with 5 years relevant experience (OR) AMIE or Degree in Engineering with one year relevant experience (OR) Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent with one year experience (OR) Graduate in any discipline and appropriate qualification in Information Technology with five year relevant experience.

Technical Assistant Grade II -> 12th pass with Science plus 2 years full time Diploma in MLT with 7 years experience in R & D laboratory OR B.Sc. with three years experience OR Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications with three years experience.

Technician I -> 10th with Science plus 2 years full time Diploma in Medical Lab Technology course and 2 years relevant experience after MLT; OR B. Sc. (OR) Three years Diploma in Engineering Technology or Matric with ITI Certificate in respective trade with four years relevant experience in the pay band of 5,200-20,200 in PB-1 with Grade Pay of 2,000/-.

Technician II -> 10th Class with Science plus 3 years experience in R& D Laboratory or Diploma in Medical Lab Technology course (OR) 10th Class with ITI Certificate in respective trade with 3 years relevant experience in the respective trade in a reputed lab/industrial establishment including apprenticeship in a recognized workshop.

Management Assistant -> Graduate with minimum 5 years experience in the pay band of 9,300-34,800 with grade pay of 4,200 or equivalent having the knowledge of administration /stores & purchase/ finance and accounts matters/establishment/house keeping jobs etc.

MTS -> Matriculation or equivalent.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Interview.
