Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) (A Subsidiary of ONGC) invites applications from Engineering graduates / Diploma holders for engagement of Graduate / Technician Apprentice for a period of one year as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act 1961 / Apprentices Amendment Act, 1973. Educational Qualification: (General Category must have 65% aggregate; SC/ST/OBC shall have 40% marks in aggregate)
GAT -> Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline.
TAT -> Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline.
TAT (Commercial Practice) -> Diploma in Commercial Practice.
Eligibility: Engineering Graduates / Diploma Holders who have passed the qualifying examination in the year 2013, 2014 and 2015 from Engineering colleges/Polytechnic of Karnataka only need to apply. Candidates who have been engaged previously as apprentice / are undergoing apprenticeship training at MRPL or elsewhere under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible to apply.
Selection Process: Written Test and Interview followed by pre-employment Medical Fitness Test.
How To Apply: The application in the prescribe format may be duly filled and send along with self attested copy of documents in respect of date of birth, matriculation, Degree / Diploma certificate (including semester wise mark sheets) and caste certificate (if applicable) should be addressed to SENIOR MANAGER (HR), RECRUITMENT SECTION, MRPL, MANGALORE on or before 11/12/2015 by ordinary post.

Educational Qualification & Experience:
GM (Internal Audit / Finance) -> CA/ICWA/MBA with specialization in Finance with Minimum 21 years of post qualification experience in a large reputed Corporate in Manufacturing / Process Sector, presently working in the position of at least Dy. General Manager / Chief Manager. Work experience in a Refinery / Fertilizer / Petrochemical plant will be added advantage. In case of Finance, experience in Corporate Accounts Finalization, Treasury Management and Direct / Indirect taxation, Preparation of Budget, Maintenance of Cost Records, Preparation of Management Information Reports, Project appraisals will be preferred. In case of Internal Audit, experience in Risk Management Techniques, Corporate & Enterprise Risk etc. will be preferred. Candidates applying from PSU's should be working minimum at the level of Dy. General Manager / Chief Manager in IDA pay scale of Rs.51300-73000 or equivalent for minimum two years.
DGM (Finance) -> CA/ICWA/MBA with specialization in Finance with Minimum 18 years of post qualification experience in a large reputed Corporate in Manufacturing / Process Sector, presently working in the position of at least Chief Manager / Senior Manager. Work experience in a Refinery / Fertilizer / Petrochemical plant will be added advantage. Experience in Corporate Accounts Finalization, Treasury Management and Direct / Indirect taxation, Preparation of Budget, Maintenance of Cost Records, Preparation of Management Information reports, Project appraisal etc. will be preferred. Candidates applying from PSU's should be working minimum at the level of Chief Manager / Senior Manager in IDA pay scale of Rs.43200-66000 or equivalent for minimum two years.
Selection Process: Personal Interview.
