Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), Northern Region Transmission System-I engagement of eligible experienced personnel for implementation of Integrated Power Development Scheme [IPDS] of Government of India at Varanasi, on deposit work basis of PuVVNL. The following personnel posts for IPDS project shall be purely on temporary & contract basis for a period of 12 months or till completion of project, whichever is earlier, with a provision for further extension of 01 year based on work requirement.

Educational Qualification & Experience:
Field Engineer ->
(1) BE / B. Tech. / B.Sc. Engg. / BE (Power Engg.) / AMIE in Electrical Discipline from recognized University / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General, OBC [NCL] & ST candidates and pass marks for SC category.
(2) Should have one year post qualification experience of design / engineering / construction / testing & commissioning, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE) / Distribution Management System (DMS) / Sub Transmission (ST) / Transmission Lines (TL) / Sub-Station (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU / listed company particularly in Power sector shall be preferred.
Field Supervisor ->
(1) Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognised Board / Institute with minimum 55% marks for General, OBC [NCL] & ST candidates and pass marks for SC category.
(2) Should have one year post qualification experience of design / engineering / construction / testing & commissioning, etc. in Rural Electrification (RE) / Distribution Management System (DMS) / Sub Transmission (ST) / Transmission Lines (TL) / Sub-Station (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU / listed company particularly in Power sector shall be preferred.
Selection Process: Personal Interview.
Application Fee (A Non-Refundable): Field Engineer - ₹ 300/-; Field Supervisor - ₹ 200/-. The fee is to be submitted by OBC and General candidates through a non-refundable A/C Payee Demand Draft (DD) in favour of "Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.", payable at New Delhi (preferably drawn on State Bank of India). No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-SM Candidates.

Stipend and Pay Scale:
Diploma Trainee -> Stipend of ₹ 16,500/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Pay Scale : ₹ 16000 - 35500/-(IDA)
Junior Technician Trainee -> Stipend of ₹ 11500/-. On successfully completion of training to be regularized as Junior Technician in the pay scale of ₹ 11500-26000/-(IDA)

Junior Technician Trainee - Written Test, Trade Test and Personal Interview
