Educational Qualifications:
Surveyor -> Matriculation with three years full time Diploma in Mining and Mine's survey from a Govt. recognized institute with Surveyor's certificate of competency and post qualification experience of at least one year.
Mining Mate -> Matriculation with valid Mining Mate's certificate of Competency from DGMS under MMR (for Metalliferous Mines) / CMR (for Coal Mines) with at least one year post qualification experience.
Blaster -> Matriculation with valid Blaster's Certificate or valid Mining Mate's Certificate of competency under MMR Act, 1961 from the competent authority (both restricted to Open Cast Mines) and minimum one year post qualification experience including experience of deep hole blasting in open cast mines.
Selection Process: Written Test and Interview
Application Fee: ₹ 250/- for Surveyor; ₹ 150/- for Mining Mate / Blaster. The fee pay through prescribed Pay-in-Slip (SBI Challan), Go to the nearest branch of State Bank of India bank with Pay-in-Slip and deposit the required amount in Bank. State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application and processing fee, in a specially opened account No. 32549519300 at Sector -1 Branch, Bhilai, on behalf of BSP, SAIL. No fee for ST/ PwD/ ESM or Departmental candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Physical Ability Test (PAT) cum Driving Test and Interview. Weightage of marks for written test, physical ability test cum driving test and interview will be in the ratio of 75:10:15 respectively.
Written Test: Provisionally eligible candidates will be required to appear for objective type written test at any of the centres decided by the Management. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for unreserved posts will be determined based on 50 percentile score. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks will be 40 percentile score.
Physical Ability Test cum Driving Test and Interview: From among those who qualify in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for Physical Ability Test (PAT) cum Driving Test in the ratio of 1:3 in order of merit. The qualifying marks for PAT cum Driving Test will be 50% for unreserved posts and 40% for SC/ST candidates. Candidates who qualify in the PAT cum Driving Test will be called to appear in interview. However, there will be no qualifying marks for interview. The Interview/ PAT cum Driving Test may be held at short notice for which call letters will be uploaded on SAIL website and candidates will be intimated for the same through their email. No other communication will be sent to the candidates for this purpose.
Application Fee: ₹ 150/-. No fee for SC / ST or ESM Candidates. The fee pay through Prescribed Bank Challan, Generate the Pay-in-Slip (SBI Challan) in triplicate from the portal itself.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
ACT (Trainee) (ITI holders) -> Matriculation with ITI/ NCVT from Government recognized institute in the following trades: Fitter for ACT(T)-Fitter, Electrician for ACT(T)-Electrician, Welder for ACT(T)-Welder, Instrument Mechanic for ACT(T)-Instrument Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic for ACT(T,-Diesel Mechanic, Turner/Machinist for ACT(T)-Turner/Machinist, Mason for ACT(T)-Mason, Draftsman for ACT(T)-Draftsman.
ACT (Trainee) (HVD)- Matriculation with Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) License having one year experience in operation of any Heavy Vehicle as on 09.09.2015.

For the posts of Medical Officer and Jr. Staff Nurse (Trainee) -> Objective Type Written Test and Interview. The minimum qualifying marks in the written test for unreserved posts will be determined based on 50 percentile score. For SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) / PwD candidates the qualifying marks will be 40 percentile score. From among those who qualify in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for Interview in the ratio of 1:3 for each post, category wise in order of merit. There will be no qualifying marks for Interview. Weightage of marks for written test and interview will be 80:20 respectively. For final selection, merit will be drawn by combining the scores of written test and interview.
