Government of Tamilnadu, Commissionerate For Welfare of Differently Abled, K.K. Nagar, Chennai - 600078 (Tamil Nadu State) Recruitment of following Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts in the Government Special Schools for the Visually Impaired and Hearing Impaired under the control of the Commissionerate for Welfare of the Differently Abled. The last date for submission of applications is 15th December 2015.

Age Limit: Not more than 57 years of age as on 1st July 2015.

Educational Qualifications:

Secondary Graduate Teacher (Schools for the Deaf) -> Must have obtained a Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.,) from a Recognized Institution; and Must have completed Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf and Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test - Paper-I conducted by the Teachers' Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Secondary Graduate Teacher (Schools for the Blind) -> Must have obtained a Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.,) from a Recognized Institution; and Must have completed Junior Diploma in Teaching the Blind and Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test - Paper-I conducted by the Teachers' Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu.

B.T. Assistant (Schools for the Deaf) -> Must possess B.A., B.Sc., B.Litt. Degree from a Recognized University; and Must have completed Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf and Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test - Paper-II conducted by the Teachers' Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu.

B.T. Asst. (Schools for the Blind) -> Must possess B.A., B.Sc., B.Litt. Degree from a Recognized University; and Must have completed Senior Diploma in Teaching the Blind and Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test - Paper-II conducted by the Teachers' Recruitment Board, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Deputy Warden (Schools for the Deaf) -> Must have obtained a Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.,) from a Recognized Institution; and Must have completed Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.

Deputy Warden (Schools for the Blind) -> Must have obtained a Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.,) from a Recognized Institution; and Must have completed Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.

Deputy Warden (Schools for the Orthopaedically Handicapped) -> Must have obtained a Diploma in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.,) from a Recognized Institution; and Must have completed Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf / Blind.

Candidates should attach the self attested Xerox copies of required /necessarydocuments with their application.
