Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) Government of Tamil Nadu invites Online Applications for recruitment to the temporary post of Assistant Medical Officer / Lecturer Grade-II (Yoga and Naturopathy) on Regular pay basis. The Online Registration close on 17th February 2016.

Educational Qualification: Must have passed a Degree or Diploma in Naturopathy with not less than four years academic duration awarded by a recognised University (and) Must have registered his name with the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai.
Selection Process: The selection will be based on the marks scored (in percentage up to two decimal) by the candidate in their degree/diploma, HSC/PUC and SSLC/10th Std. examinations (as per the weightage detailed in the table below), as per the communal roster, duly following the rules of reservation of Government of Tamil Nadu.

Age Limit: 18 to 57 Years for SC / ST / SCA / BC / BCM / MBC and DNC. Maximum 30 Years for OC (General).
Educational Qualifications:
Pharmacist ->
(1) A Diploma in Pharmacy.
(2) Must have registered with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council and must keep the registration alive by renewing it regularly every year.
Dark Room Assistant ->
(1) A pass in Higher Secondary Course with Science Subjects (a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; (or) (b) Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any one of the related subjects (viz) Mathematics or Computer Science;
(2) Certificate for having successfully completed the training course for Dark Room Assistant of any Institution recognised by the State Government (or) Government of India.
Lab Technician Grade-II ->
(1) Diploma or Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology course (two years duration) conducted by the King Institute of Preventive Medicine or from any other institution recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu for this purpose.
(2) Provided that, if candidates with the above qualification are not available, then candidates with Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (One year duration) conducted by the institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu for this purpose shall be appointed.
Application Fee: ₹ 500/- be paid by all the candidates (excluding candidates belonging to SC/SC(A)/ST and eligible Differently Abled Persons (DAP (PH)). SC/SC(A)/ST and DAP(PH) candidates have to pay ₹ 250 /-. In addition, candidates have to pay the applicable service charges to the Indian Bank (in case of offline payment @ ₹ 15/- or Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card / Mobile Wallet charges over and above the mandatory fee. The charges will vary from bank to bank. The approximate charges for the same will be about 2% of the transaction (approximately ₹ 10). The fee can be made through Online Payment (Net Banking, Credit card/Debit card /Mobile Wallet) / Offline Mode (System generated challan pay through Indian Bank).

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2016): Minimum 18 Years (25 Years for Occupational Therapis); Maximum - 57 Years.
Educational Qualifications:
EEG / EMG Technician ->
(1) A pass in HSC with Science Subjects (a) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) (b) Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(2) Must have passed the one year Certificate course in EEG/EMG conducted in Government Medical Institutions under the control of Director of Medical Education (or) in any other institution recognized by the State / Central Government.
Audiometrician ->
(1) Must have passed HSC with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or physics, Chemistry, Biology with any one of the related subjects.
(2) Must have passed a one year certificate course in Audiometry from Government Medical Institutions under the control of the Director of Medical Education or in any other Institution recognized by the State or Central Government.
Prosthetic Craftsman ->
(1) Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (AND)
(2) Must have obtained two years diploma in PROSTHETICS AND ORTHOTICS awarded by the Directorate Technical Education or its equivalent Diploma from any other Institution recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Occupational Therapist ->
(1) Must have passed Higher Secondary Course. (AND)
(2) A Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy 3 years course with 6 months internship until 1997 (OR)
(3) Four years course with 6 months internship in Occupational Therapy awarded by any University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Selection Process: Selection will be made based on the marks scored by the candidates in their academic and technical qualification(s) duly the following rules of reservation and communal rotation issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu. There will be no oral test (Interview) for the post.
Weightage of Marks -> Certificate - 50%, HSC / PUC - 30%, SSLC (10th) - 20%.
Application Fee: ₹ 250/- for SC/SCA/ST and DAP (PH), Destitute Widow candidates. ₹ 500 /- be paid by all other (UR / OBC) candidates. The fee can be made through Online / Offline remittance.
