WBPSC Assistant Engineer Civil Recruitment 2016 Apply Online

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) will hold a Competitive Examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Engineering Department. The online Registration start from 26th April 2016 and close on 17th May 2016. All appointments will initially be made on a temporary basis.

Educational Qualification and Eligibility:

(1) A degree in Civil Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent qualification.
(2) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
(3) The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Selection Process: Written Examination (Multiple choice objective type questions) and Interview. The Test will be held in Kolkata centre only in the month of August 2016 or thereabout followed by the Interview. The Interview of the candidates selected on the basis of the results of the written examination will be held at the Commission's office in Kolkata.

Application Fee: ₹ 210/- only + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to a minimum of ₹ 5/- only for online payment through debit/ credit card plus 12.36% of service charge as Govt. Duty or Service Charge of ₹ 5/- only for Net Banking or Service Charge of ₹ 20/- only for payment through Bank Counter (off-line payment). SC / ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee.
