High Court of Allahabad Recruitment 2016 Personal Assistant (63 Vacancies)

High Court of Judicature at Allahabad invites Online Applications from the eligible Indian citizens for recruitment of Personal Assistant for filling up 63 Vacancies. The last date for submission of online application is 14th July 2016.

Educational Qualifications:

(1) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or qualification equivalent thereto.
(2) Good Knowledge of English Shorthand having a minimum speed of 100 Words per Minute; and English Typewriting having minimum speed of 40 Words per Minute.
(3) Computer Knowledge i.e. Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operation.
(4) Preference shall be given to candidates possessing good knowledge of Hindi Shorthand and Typewriting with speed of 80 and 30 words per minute, respectively.

Application Fee: ₹ 1000 + bank charges extra for General (Unreserved) and OBC category candidates; For SC/ST category of Uttar Pradesh shall be ₹ 500 + bank charges extra. The candidates seeking Horizontal reservation shall have to pay fees according to their original category. Last Date for payment through Offline Mode is 15th July 2016.

Selection Process: The selection process shall comprise of 2 stages. Information about the date and time of examinations (both the stages) shall be notified on the High Court Website.

State-2 -> Part A: Shorthand Test, Part-B: Computer Knowledge Test.

Essential Qualifications:

(Final) in 2015-16 Examination and are awaiting results may also apply. Law graduates having scored not less than 55% marks in their LL.B examination are only eligible to apply for Law Clerks (Trainee). They will be required to submit their final mark sheet of LL.B Examination at the time of interview, which may be held in the first week of August, 2016.
(2) Computer knowledge, i.e., Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operations.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview only. The Interview will be held only at Allahabad.

How to Apply: The application forms can be purchased from the counter in the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad and at it's Lucknow Bench on payment of ₹ 300/- in cash. The application forms are also available on Allahabad High Court web site and may be downloaded and used subject to payment of application form of ₹ 300/- to be paid through bank draft drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.

The application form along with one duly attested copy of High School Mark Sheet, High School Certificate in proof of age/date of birth, Intermediate Mark Sheet, Intermediate Pass Certificates, Graduation/Post Graduation Mark Sheets and Certificates and testimonials regarding Extra Curricular Activities and Computer Knowledge along with two self addressed envelope (size 5''x10'') each bearing postage stamps worth ₹ 40/- should be sent to the REGISTRAR GENERAL, HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD either by Speed Post, Registered Post with AD or through Courier. Minimum Educational Qualification:  A candidate must be an Advocate of not less than seven years standing as on 18/06/2016. The applicants must fulfil the essential requirements of the post and the other conditions stipulated in the Uttar Pradesh Higher Judicial Service Rules, 1975.

Selection Process: Preliminary Examination (objective type), Main Written Examination and Interview. The recruitment will be based on a preliminary examination (objective type), consisting of 100 marks of 02 hours from syllabus on OMR Sheet  to be held on 31st July, 2016 (Sunday) at Allahabad & only those candidates shall be called to appear in the main written examination who secure 45% or more marks in the preliminary examination provided candidates not more than 20 times of number of vacancy category wise i.e. separately for General, SC, ST & OBC shall be admitted to the main written examination. The candidates securing 45% or above in the main written examination shall be called to appear in the interview  subject to maximum thrice the
number of vacancies category-wise.

Examination Fee: ₹ 1000/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; ₹ 750/- for SC / ST Candidates belonging to the State of U.P. only; ₹ 1000/- for all candidates belonging to other states. The Candidates are required to pay a fee only by depositing the money in any branch of the SBI (using Prescribed Bank Challan).
