Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) issued New Notification 2017 for General Recruitment of Assistant Statistical Officer, Lecturers and Assistant Director posts. The last date for submission of online applications is 28th January 2017.

Educational Qualifications:

Lecturers ->

(1) Good academic record with a minimum of 55%  marks or an equivalent
Grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Masters Degree level, in the relevant subject, obtained from the Universities recognized in India.
(2) Should have passed National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC or SLET conducted by the Osmania University in terms of G.O. Ms. No. 19, Higher Education (CE-1-I), Dept., Dt. 24/02/2011 and by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in terms of G.O.Ms. No.47, Higher Education (CE-1) Dept.,dt.02/12/2015.

Assistant Statistical Officer ->

(1) Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the Main Subject (OR)
(2) Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main Subjects (OR)
(3) Bachelor’s Degree with Economics (with statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects, (OR)
(4) Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. (OR)
(5) Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Science (with Statistics as a paper in one year or two years or all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.

Assistant Director ->

(1) Must possess Post Graduate Degree in one of the Subjects of Mathematics, Pure  Mathematics, Statistics, Economics with Statistics, Pure Economics, Applied Economics, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics or Computer Science from a recognized University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other recognized equivalent qualification.

Application Fee: Applicant must pay ₹ 250/- towards application processing fee and ₹ 120/- (Lecturers & Assistant Director) / ₹ 80/- (Assistant Statistical Officer) towards Examination Fee. The fee exempted for SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men, Families having Household Supply White Card issued by   Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government. (Residents of Andhra Pradesh) and Un-employed youth in the age group of 18 to 42 years as per G.O.Ms.No.439, G.A (Se-A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission. The fee is to be paid Online using Payment Gateway using Net Banking/ Credit card / Debit Card.

Selection Process: The Screening Test and Main Examination will be held at all the districts in Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad. The Proficiency Test will be conduct only for post code nos' 09,10,11.12,17,18.19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31 and 32. There is no Proficiency Test to conduct for post code Nos' 08,13,33 and 34.

Qualification and Eligibility:

Dental Assistant Surgeons ->

(a) Must possess a degree in Dental Surgery (viz) B.D.S. of University in India established or incorporated by or under central Act or State Act or Provincial Act or an institution recognized by the UGC or any other equivalent qualification Indian or foreign recognized as equivalent there to by the Dental Council of India.
(b) Must be permanent Registered Medical Practitioner with in the meaning of the Law for the time being existing in the state.

Zilla Sainik welfare officer ->

(a) No Ex-Servicemen who retired below the rank of Captain or equivalent rank in the Army, Navy OR Air Force shall be eligible.
(b) Must possess the minimum general educational qualifications prescribed in the schedule to the general rules or equivalent qualification of Indian Army, Navy or Air force.

Municipal Assistant Engineers (Civil) ->

(a) A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or an Institution Recognized by the University Grants Commission / AICTE or a Pass in Sections 'A' and 'B' of AMIE (India) Examination in Civil Engineering.

Assistant Engineers (Civil) ->

(a) Diploma in Civil Engineering or any other equivalent qualification.

Assistant Engineers (Civil / Mechanical) ->

(a) A Degree in B.E. Civil or Mechanical of a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, a State Act or a Provincial Act or Institution recognized by the UGC. (OR)
(b) B.Sc. (Engineering) degree of the Benaras Hindu University. (OR)
(c) A pass in section 'A' and 'B' of the AMIE (India) Civil Examination. (OR)

Assistant Hydrogeologist ->

(a) Must possess M. Sc. or M. Sc (Tech) or M. Tech in Geology or applied Geology or Hydrogeology of a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification or any University recognized by the University Grants Commission under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956 or Diploma of Associate ship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.

(a) Must hold a Degree in Civil Engineering with Geology as one of the subject of a University or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or must have passed section A and B of the A.I.M.E (India) Examination conducted by institution of Engineers (India) or M.Sc.[Hydrology] two years course from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Technical Assistant (Hydrogeology) ->

(a) Must possess M. Sc. or M. Sc (Tech) or M.
