Educational Qualification and Experience:
Sr. Technical Officer (2) (Agronomy/ Extension) -> M.Sc.(Agronomy) with minimum 55% marks and 5 years experience in Agronomic research and transfer of Agrotechnology.
Sr. Technical Officer (2) (Analytical Chemistry) -> M.Sc. (Analytical/Organic Chemistry) with minimum 55% marks and 5 years experience in Pharmaceutical analysis/ Natural Products and Traditional medicines.
Technical Assistant (Chemical Engineering) -> 1st class Diploma in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Agricultural Engineering of atleast 3 years full time duration or atleast 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or its equivalent with experience of 02 years in relevant area/ field.
Technical Assistant (Civil Engineering) -> 1st class Diploma in Civil Engg. of atleast 3 years full time duration or atleast 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma courses or its equivalent with experience of 02 years in relevant area/ field.
Technical Assistant (Chemistry/ Instrumentation) -> 1st class B.Sc.(Sci.) with Chemistry/ Physics as one of the subject with one year full time professional qualification in running/ operating analytical instruments or one year practical experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
Technical Assistant (Extension) -> 1st class B.Sc.(Agri.) with one year full time professional qualification in Agriculture or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
Technical Assistant (Taxonomy/ Gene Bank) -> 1st class B.Sc.(Sci.) with one year full time professional qualification in plant taxonomy or germplasm collection/conservation or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
Technical Assistant (Bioprospection) -> 1st class B.Sc.(Sci.) with one year full time professional qualification in the area of Biotechnology/Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organization.
Technical Assistant (Plant Protection) -> 1st class B.Sc.(Sci.) with one year full time professional qualification in Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Entomology or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organization.
Technical Assistant (Publication) -> 1st class B.Sc.(Sci.) with one year full time Professional qualification in Word processing, photo editing softwares, printing and publication or one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organization.
Assistant (F&A) Gr.III -> 10 (Matric) with +2 / XII or its equivalent with Commerce as one of the subjects and typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer. (35/30 words per minute correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word; Time allowed-10 minutes).
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC Candidates of ₹ 100/- only. The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Women/ PWD/ Abroad candidates and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.
How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates are required to fill Online Application Form. The Online registration start from 05/12/2016 and close on 03/01/2017.
The Printout of the application, generated after online submission, duly accompanied by self-attested copies of the requisite certificates/ mark sheets of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience, and community certificate, if any, addressed to the "Administrative Officer, CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Post Office-CIMAP, Lucknow-226015" should reach this office by speed post/ registered post on or before 20/01/2017. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application for each post indicating the Code No. of the post.
