Essential Qualification:
Field Assistant -> Bachelor Degree in Science with Botany / Agriculture / Forestry / or other Life Sciences.
Project Assistant -> Bachelor's Degree in Botany / Biochemistry / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Analytical Chemistry.

Educational Qualifications:
Library Information Assistant -> Graduate Degree from recognized University with Bachelor's degree in Library Science.
Technical Assistant -> Matric with 12th pass with Science from a recognized board.
Stenographer Gr.II -> Passed 12th class from a recognized board. Should possess a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography English/ Hindi on the basis of competitive examination to be conducted by the concerned Director of the Institute. Certificate course in computer application - typing speed 5 key depression for each word.
Forest Guard -> 10th class (Matric) pass from a recognized board. Certificate in Fire Fighting.
MTS -> 10th class (Matric) pass from a recognized board / school. 03 years or more experience in relevant trade.

SBIT (Information Technology) ->
(1) Essential - First Class B.E./B. Tech. degree in Computer Science from a recognized University OR First Class in Master of Computer Applications or equivalent from a recognized University.
(2) Desirable - Ph.D. degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology, M.Tech degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology.
Research Officer Grade-I ->
(1) Essential - M.Sc. degree in Agriculture from a recognized University with specialization in Soil Science or M.Sc. degree in Soil Science/ Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/ Soil Microbiology from a recognized University or M.Sc. degree in Forestry from a recognized University with specialization in Soil Science.
(2) Desirable: 3 years research/practical experience in the subject concerned.
Selection Process: Written Examination and / or Interview
Place of Written Examination: The written examination will be conducted at Dehradun.
Place of interviews: ICFRE (Hqrs.), P.O. New Forest, Dehradun (Uttarakhand).
