Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai - 600 038 (Ministry of Railways) invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the Year 2016-2017. The closing date for receipt of applications is 13th February 2017.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years as on 1st January 2017. No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible.

Educational Qualifications:

Senior Clerk -> A Degree from a recognised University.

Junior Clerk or Technician Grade III -> Pass in 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Course completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI in the relevant trade.

Minimum Norms for Recruitment of Sports Persons:

Level 5 with Pay ₹ 29,200/- (Grade Pay ₹ 2,800/- in Pay Band ₹ 5200-20200 in 6th CPC) -> Represented the Country in Olympics Games (Senior Category) (OR) Atleast 3rd position in any of the following: i) World Cup (Junior/Senior Category), ii) World Championships(Junior/Senior Category), iii) Asian Games(Senior Category), iv) Common Wealth Games(Senior Category).

Level 2 with Pay ₹ 19,900/- (Grade Pay ₹ 1,900/- in Pay Band ₹ 5200-20200 in 6th CPC) -> Represented the country in any of the following: i) World cup (Junior/Senior Category), ii) World championships (Junior/Senior Category), iii) Asian Games (Senior Category), iv) Common wealth Games(Senior Category) (OR) At least 3rd Position in any of the following: i) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category), ii) Asian Championships / Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), iii)    South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category), iv) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). (OR) At least 3rd Position in Senior / Youth / Junior National Championships. (OR) At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association. (OR) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter-University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR) 1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category).

Selection Process: Trial followed by a Personal Interview. The Trials of the candidate shall be conducted to assess the sports performance and suitability for Railway / Unit team as well as Indian Railways Team.

Application Fee: ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Candidates; ₹ 250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen /Minorities and Economic Backward Classes, which will be refunded to those who actually appear for the selection must be paid only through Demand Draft (DD) / Order drawn in favour of FA&CAO/ICF payable at Chennai. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the postal order.

How to Apply: Applications should be strictly in the prescribed format, shall be filled in A-4 size GSM Bond paper.
