Age Limit: 18 to 33 Years as on 1st April 2016.Age Relaxation 03 Years for OBC (NCL) and 05 Years for SC / ST.

Pay Scale:

(a) Skilled Gr-I (IDA-5) -> Basic Pay of ₹ 7500/- per month in the IDA Pay Scale ₹ 7500-22430/-.
(b) Semi-Skilled Gr-III (IDA-4A) -> Basic Pay of Rs.7250/- per month in the IDA Pay Scale Rs.7250-21630/-.
(c) Semi-Skilled Gr-I (IDA-2) -> Basic Pay of ₹ 6000/- per month in the IDA Pay Scale ₹ 6000-19500/-.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Jr. QC Inspector (NDT-Mechanical) -> Must have passed SSC with full time three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to this it is essential to have ISNT/ASNT Level II certification in Radiography interpretation, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic particle testing and Dye penetrate testing. The minimum experience required is 2 Years in NDT of fabricated structure/Pressure Vessels/Piping etc. After Level-2 certification.

Sr. Medical Assistant -> Passed Diploma/ Degree in Nursing of 3 years duration after 12th Std done at Govt. or Govt recognized University/Institute & basic life support and Advance Cardiac life support certification of American Heart Association or equivalent. Two years experience of working in Govt./ Pvt Hospital with minimum 100 beded hospital/Industrial (OHS) set up and qualified in handling alone industrial emergencies / accidents / injuries / illnesses and specialized in advanced life support care & able to read ECG monitors and do intervention procedures. Only male candidates to apply. The experience certificate should be issued by the Personnel / HR department

Driver-Vehicle -> SSC or equivalent examination conducted by a Board recognized by Govt. or p[assed Indian Army class-I examination in the Navy or Air Fource. Should have valid Driving Lincence issued by RTO without break/adverse remarks. Heavy duty motor vehicle driving licence preferable. Experience - Minimum 04 years driving experience in Government/ Govt. Company / Public Limited Company / Private Limited Company. Retired / servicing Navy/ Army/ Air Force personnel would be preferred and driving experience in Mumbai City is preferable.

Jr Draughtsman (Mech.) -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination in the Trade of 'Draughtsman' in Mechanical Stream.

Jr. Planner Estimator (Mech) -> Must have passed SSC / HSC with full time three years Diploma with aggregate 55% marks or full time Degree with pass class in Mechanical (Mechanical/ Mechanical & Industrial Engg./Mechanical & Production Engg./ Production Engg.) or Marine Engineering in Examination conducted by Govt. recognized Technical Board / University.

Jr. Planner Estimator (Elct/ Electr.) -> Must have passed SSC / HSC with full time three years Diploma with aggregate 55% marks or full time Degree with pass class in Electrical ( Electrical / Power Engineering / Electrical & Electronics/Electrical & Instrumentation) / Electronics (Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Allied Electronics & Instrumentation /Electronics & Telecommunication) or Marine Engineering in Examination conducted by Govt. recognised Technical Board / University.

Jr. QC Inspector (Mechanical) -> Must have passed SSC with full time three years Diploma with aggregate 55% marks in Mechanical (Mechanical/Mechanical & Industrial Engg./Mechanical & Production Engg./Production Engg) or Marine Engineering in Examination conducted by Govt.of India recognised Technical Board.

Jr. QC Inspector (Elct./Elect.) -> Must have passed SSC / HSC with full time three years Diploma with aggregate 55% marks in Electrical ( Electrical / Power Engineering / Electrical & Electronics/Electrical & Instrumentation) or Marine Engineering in  Examination conducted by Govt.of India recognised Technical Board.

Structural Fabricator -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Structural Fitter / Fabricator or Fitter or Sheet Metal Worker.

Fitter -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Fitter /  Millwright  Mechanic /  Mechanic  Machine Tool Maintenance.

Pipe Fitter -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Pipe Fitter / Fitter/Plumber.

Electrician -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Electrician.

Electric Crane Operator    -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Electrician.

Electronic Mechanic -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Electronic Mechanic / Mechanic Radio & Radar Aircraft.

Painter    -> Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination (NAC) passed in the trade of Painter.

Carpenter -> Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination (NAC) passed in the trade of Carpenter.

Machinist -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Machinist.

Brass Finisher -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Fitter or Machinist.

Compressor Attendant -> Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of Millwright Mechanic / Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance.

Millwright Mechanic -> SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination passed in the trade of "Millwright Mechanic / Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance".

Composite Welder -> Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate Examination (NAC) passed in the trade of Welder / Welder (Gas & Electric).

Security Sepoy (Ex-servicemen) -> Must have passed  SSC or equivalent examination conducted by a Board recognized by Govt. Or passed Indian Army class - I examination or equivalent examination in the Navy or Air Force and has put in at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union and is otherwise considered fit to hold the post in view of his experience and other qualifications. Candidates conversant with Security Duties and holding valid commercial driving licence will be preferred.

Fire Fighter -> Candidates must have passed SSC or equivalent with Diploma / Certificate in Fire Fighting of minimum six months duration from a Govt. recognised institute. Candidates must possess a valid Heavy Duty Vehicle Licence.

Chipper Grinder -> Chipper Grinder trade is not a designated trade under Apprenticeship Act. Candidates who have passed SSC and NAC in any trade and have worked in Shipbuilding industry as Chipper Grinder.

Rigger -> Passed VIII with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Rigger/Fitter.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates apply in the prescribed application format. The application should be filled legibly in Hindi, Marathi or English in Block letters on an A-4 size paper. A separate application for each trade has to be submitted in case the applicant desires to apply for more than one post.

Completed Applications must be enclose with self attested copies of certificates in support of their age, qualification, experience, caste certificate, defence discharge certificate & driving licence. Duly filled application in the prescribed format along with all enclosures should reach DGM (HR-Rec.-NE), Recruitment Cell, Service Block- 3rd Floor, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai-400010 on or before 20/12/2016.
