Qualification (from Govt. Recognized University / Institute / Board) and Experience:

Steno Grade – III -> Graduate Degree with Minimum speed 80wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typing. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Govt./ Semi- Govt./ PSU reputed organizations. Proficiency in computer Operation.

Assistant Warden -> Degree. Desirable - One year experience as Asst. Warden or in analogous post in Government educational Institutions / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies / Reputed institutions.

Assistant (Accounts) -> Graduate Degree in commerce / Economics / Statistics / Mathematics. Diploma / Certificate in Computer Applications Operations latest software’s i.e. Ms. Office (Word / Excel / Power Point). Accounts related software and proficiency in computer operations.  2 years’ experience in Audit / Accounts. Typing speed of at least 40 w.p.m in English / Hindi.

Machine Mechanic -> Diploma / Certificate from ITI as Fitter in related areas or its equivalent diploma / Certificate. At least 3 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of cutting / sewing / finishing machines in garment production concerns.

Junior Assistant -> Passed 10 + 2 examination from a Board or its equivalent recognized by the Govt. Diploma / Certificate in computer Applications Operations latest soft wares i.e. MS Office (word / Excel / Power Point and proficiency in computer operations. Have a speed of 30wpm in English / Hindi Typing. Proficiency in computer Application with Lotus, Word Star, MS Word, MS office, Excel.

Library Assistant -> Graduate Degree. Diploma in library Science. At least 1-year assistance in a well-established Library.

Laboratory Assistant ->Graduate with Diploma in concerned discipline and minimum 1 year experience in concerned discipline. (OR) Class 10 with Diploma / Certificate of 3 years duration in required discipline with 5 years experience (OR) 10+2 with Diploma / Certificate of 3 years duration in concerned discipline with 3 years experience. (OR) Graduate plus Diploma / Certificate in Computer with minimum 1 year experience.

Driver -> At least 10th class (Matric) pass. Possession of the requisite driving license for two wheeler / Three Wheeler / Light / Heavy Motor vehicle. Should be fully conversant with traffic regulations. Should have at least 2 years experience in driving Light / Heavy Motor Vehicle. Should be able to read and write Hindi and English.

MTS -> Matriculation or equivalent pass. (OR) ITI pass.

Application Fee: ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / PWD Candidates. The fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) / bankers cheque should be drawn in favour of “NIFT Kannur” payable at Kannur.

Selection Process: Written Test (100%) Only for Assistant Warden and MTS Posts; Written Test (60%) and a Skill Test (40%) for Steno Grade – III / Assistant Accounts / Machine Mechanic / Junior Assistant / Library Assistant / Laboratory Assistant / Driver Posts.

Plumber	(1) Should possess ITI trade certification OR equivalent in the trade with at least 5 years practical experience in the trade. (2) Should have a working knowledge of various types of special tools used in the plumbing trade of all types of pipes of different materials and be able to estimate requirements for any job entrusted to him. (3) Should be able to follow drawings and sketches and execute work according to lay out. (4) Should possess plumbing license tax where such licenses are issued by local authorities.
Electrician	(1) 10th class standard. (2) ITI/ Diploma in Electricians Trade or equivalent diploma. (3) Must possess electrical supervisory certificate of competency. (4) Must have minimum practical experience of 5 years in erection and running, maintenance of different types of electrical appliances and installations including UG cable systems.
Junior Assistant	(1) Passed 10+2 examination from a Board or its equivalent recognized by the Govt.
