Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Administrative Officer ->
(1) Degree from a recognized University.
(2) Five years experience in establishment in supervisory capacity.
(3) Knowledge of Central Govt. Rules.
Special Education Teacher ->
(1) Graduate and Diploma in Special Education (MR) or equivalent (OR) B.Ed. in Special Education (MR) (OR) BRS(MR) with specialization in Special Education.
(2) RCI registration as professional in Special Education (MR).
Vocational Instructor ->
(1) ITI or equivalent qualification.
(2) Two years experience in a workshop or industrial centre.

Qualification and Experience:
Director ->
(1) Post Graduate Degree (Full time course) in any discipline of rehabilitation (recognized by RCI/MCI).
(2) 10 years experience in related field.
(3) 2-5 years experience in Administration.
Assistant Professor (Medical PMR) ->
(1) MBBS with PG/Diploma (full time course) from a MCI recognized Institute.
(2) Minimum 5 years experience in teaching/ research in the filed of Rehabilitation.
Assistant Professor (Clinical Psychology or Rehab.Psychology) ->
(1) M.Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (full time course) from a RCI recognized Institute.
(2) Minimum 5 years experience in teaching/ research in the filed of Rehabilitation.
Lecturer (Occupational Therapy) ->
(1) Masters in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institute.
(2) Minimum 3 years of experience in the filed of Rehabilitation.
Administrative Officer ->
(1) Post Graduate Degree/ MBA from recognized University.
(2) Minimum 3 years of experience in Establsihment/ Administration/ Purchase matters preferably in a Central Government organization/Institution.
Prosthotist & Orthotist ->
(1) Degree from a recognized Institute in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
(2) Minimum 4 years of experience of having worked in the related field.
Accountant ->
(1) Commerce Graduate/ CA Inter from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computers.
(2) Minimum 5 years of experience in handling accounts/cash.
Vocational Instructors ->
(1) SSC and Diploma in Vocational Training from a reputed training Institute in the related field.
(2) 5 years experience including 2 years in organizing/ conducting vocational training programmes.
Workshop Supervisor-cum-Store Keeper ->
(1) Graduation with Diploma/PG diploma in material management.
(2) Minimum 5 years experience in the concerned area as Store Keeper.
Orientation & Mobility Instructor ->
(1) Diploma in Orientation & Mobility Instruction.
(2) 5 years experience in Teaching and training in the related field.
Application Fee: A Demand Draft (DD) (non-refundable) of ₹ 500/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director, NIMH should be submitted along with the application. Separate application should be submitted for each post. The candidate should clearly mention their name & post applied for on the back side of DD. No fee is prescribed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category.
