Telangana Postal Circle Recruitment 2016-2017 Sports Quota (08 Vacancies)

Department of Posts, Telangana Postal Circle, Hyderabad issued sports recruitment notification for appointment of Meritorious Sports persons in the Department of Posts in the cadre of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, PACO, Postman and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). The last date for receipt of applications is 2nd January 2017.

Postal /Sorting Assistant/ PACO	05	₹ 5,200-20,200 (Pay Band-I) + Grade Pay of ₹ 2,400 plus admissible allowances (as per Pre-Revised scale). Level-4 as per 7th Pay Commission.
Postman/Mail Guard	02	₹ 5,200-20,200 (Pay Band-I) + Grade Pay of ₹ 2,000 plus admissible allowances (as per Pre-Revised scale). Level-3 as per 7th Pay Commission
MTS	01	₹ 5,200-20,200 (Pay Band-I) + Grade Pay of ₹ 1,800 plus admissible allowances (as per Pre-Revised scale). Level-1 as per 7th Pay Commission.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 Years as on 2nd January 2017. Age Relaxation as per Rules.

Educational Qualifications:

Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant/ PACO ->

(1) 10+2 Standard or 12th class pass from recognised University/ Board of School Education Board of Secondary Education/ National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) /Open universities recognised and affiliated to NIOS with English as a compulsory subject.
(2) Candidates with higher qualification are also considered to fulfil the required requirements. There are no bonus marks for higher education.
(3) Candiaates who have passed 12 standard /10+2 in vocational course or Job
oriented course are not eligible.
(4) Having Typing knowledge and computer knowledge upto the required standard is desirable.
(5) Should have studied local language of the State of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana States which is Telugu or Hindi as a subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent.

Postman ->

(1) A Pass in Matriculation from a recognised Board/University.
(2) Candidates with higher qualification are also considered but they have to fulfil the required requirements. There are no bonus marks for higher education.

MTS ->

(1) A Pass in Matriculation /ITI or equivalent from a recognised Board/University.
(2) Candidates with higher qualification are also considered but they have to fulfil the required requirements. There are no bonus marks for higher education.

Sports Qualification:

Competition	Authority awarding certificate
International competition	Secretary of the National Federation of the Game concerned.
National competition	Secretary of the National Federation or Secretary of the State Association of the Game concerned.
Inter University Tournaments	Dean of Sports or other Officer in overall charge of Sports of the university concerned.
National/ Sports/ Games for schools	Director or Additional / Joint or Deputy Director m overall charge of Sports / games for schools in the Directorate of Public Instructions/Education of the state.
Physical Efficiency Drive	Secretary of other Officer in overall charge of Physical Efficiency in the Ministry of Education & Social welfare Government of India.

Application Fee: ₹ 100/- it should be deposited/ paid in any Post Office through MPCM receipt in Telangana Postal Circle under UCR only and submit original receipt along with application.

How to Apply: Application in the prescribed format, The Duly filled application along with all required photo-copies of documents to be sent to Chief Postmaster General, Telangana Circle, Hyderabad-500001. The last date for receipt of applications is 02/01/2017.
