IIT Palakkad Recruitment 2017 Non-Teaching Posts (18 Vacancies)

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment of following Non-Teaching Positions. The last date for receipt of applications is 10th February 2017.

About: IIT Palakkad is earliest among the 3rd group of IITs, announced in 2014 by the Government of India. IIT Palakkad started functioning with the support of its mentoring institute, IIT Madras from the academic year of 2015-16.The academic program was launched by admitting students in the B.Tech course in the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Educational Qualifications:

Registrar -> A Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. At least 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs.7000/- (or equivalent V CPC Scale) and above or 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8000/- (or equivalent V CPC Scale) and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational Administration (OR) 15 years of administrative experience, of which minimum of 8 years as Deputy Registrar in GP: Rs.7600 or an equivalent post.

Assistant Registrar -> A Postgraduate degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent with excellent Academic record.

Junior Superintendent -> First class Bachelor's degree with 6 years experience in Finance & Accounts/ Stores & Purchase/ Establishment/ Administrative/ legal matters in Government, PSU/ Autonomous Organisation/ Universities/ reputed Institutes or Organisations under Central/ State Government and reputed private organisations.

Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) -> B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in Engineering in appropriate branch with 2 years experience (OR) Diploma in Engineering of 3 years duration in appropriate branch with 5 years relevant experience.

Junior Technical Superintendent -> BE/ B.Tech and 5 years experience in GP Rs.2800 or equivalent OR Diploma plus 8 years experience in GP Rs.2800 or equivalent. Disciplines required: Civil (1) Mechanical (2 inclusive of Workshop) Electrical, inclusive of Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation (1).

Junior Technician -> Diploma of 3 years duration in Engineering (or) ITI with 2 Years experience or Graduate in Sciences Disciplines required: Physics (1),Chemistry (1),Civil Engg (1), Electrical Engg inclusive of Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation (1), Mechanical Engg (1).

Junior Assistant -> Bachelor's degree with knowledge of computer operations.

Application Fee: ₹ 100/- only for General and OBC Candidates. The Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempted from payment of Application Fee. The candidates desirous of applying for more than one post, must apply for each post along with application fee of ₹ 100/- separately.
