Educational Qualifications: [From Recognized University / Board]

Hindi Translator -> Post Graduate in Hindi/English with English Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level (OR) equivalent qualification.

Religious Teacher -> Graduation (Degree) with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi.

Barrack & Road -> Matric or equivalent with Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Staff Nurse -> Matriculation or equivalent. Diploma in Nursing. Must kave working knowledge of Hindi.

For all other posts -> Matriculation (10th Class) Pass from a Recognized Board.

Selection Process: Written Examination, Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficient Test (PET), Trade Test (Skill Test) and Medical Examination.

Application Fee: ₹ 50/- (For General and OBC Category candidates) payable through SBI Challan through Power Jyoti Account No 35015974955 at SBI, Laitkor Branch, Shillong, Code No - 13883. The Fee paid by SBI Challan will be submitted along with the application. However, no fee will be charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex- Servicemen and Female candidates. Specimen copy of SBI Challan for recruitment fee is attached.

Eligibility: Next of Kins (NOKs)/d ependents of assam rifles personnel who died while in service or discharged from service on medical grounds or missing are eligible for compassionate ground appointment.

Applicability: Compassionate Ground Appointment is applicable as per priority to only ONE dependent family member of a Government servant who:-

(a) Priority 1 -> Is killed in action.
(b) Priority 2 -> Dies while in service (including death by suicide).
(c) Priority 3-> Is retired on medical grounds under Rule 2 of the CCS (Medical Examination) Rules 1957 or the corresponding provision in the Central Civil Service Regulations before attaining the age of 55 years (57 years for erstwhile Group 'D' Govt servants).
(d) Priority 4 -> Is retired on medical grounds under Rule 38 of the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 "Invalid pension may be granted if a Govt servant retires from the service on account of any bodily or mentally infirmity which permanently incapacitates him for the service" or the corresponding provision in the Central Civil Service Regulations before attaining the age of 55 years (57 years for erstwhile Group 'D' Govt servants).
(e) Priority 5 -> Is medically boarded out and is unfit for civil employment.
(f) Priority 6 -> Missing Government Servant.

Educational Qualification: 10th class (Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate) pass from a recognised Board.

Selection Process: Written Test, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test (Skill Test), Detailed Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination. The Candidates who are applying under the scheme of COMPASSIOANTE GROUND APPOINTMENT will be exempted from WRITTEN EXAM TEST.
