Age Limit:
(a) For SI/Overseer -> Between 21 to 30 years. The cut off date will be 05th May 2017. {Candidate should not have been born earlier than 06/05/1987 and not later than 05/05/1996 (including the day of 06/05/1987 & 05/05/1996)}. Relaxable for Govt Rules.
(b) For ASI/Draughtsman -> Between 18 to 25 years. The cut-off date will be 5th May 2017 (Candidates should not have been born earlier than 06/05/1992 and not later than 05/05/1999. (including the day of 06/05/1992 and 05/05/1999) (Relaxable for Govt Servant upto 40 years of age)
(c) For Constables -> Between 18 to 23 years. The crucial date for determining the age will be 5th May 2017. {Candidate should not have been born earlier than 06/05/1994 and not later than 05/05/1999 (including the day of 06/05/1994 & 05/05/1999)}. (Relaxable for Govt Servant upto 40 years of age).

(a) Sub Inspector (SI) -> Level-6 / Pay matrix ₹ 35400-81200 Old scale Pay Band - 2 (₹ 9300 - 34800 & Grade Pay ₹ 4200/-)
(b) Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) -> Level-5 in pay matrix ₹ 29200-66600 Old Sale Pay Band-1 (₹ 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay ₹ 2800/-)
(c) Constable -> Level 3 / Pay matrix ₹ 21700-50000 Old Scale Pay Band-1 (₹ 5200 - 20200 & Grade Pay ₹ 2000)
Educational Qualifications:
For Sub Inspector (SI) Posts -> Intermediate with 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Board/Institution or university or equivalent.
For Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Posts -> Matric with English, General Science and Mathematics from a recognized board with three years diploma in Draughtsman Course (Civil/ Mechanical Engineering) from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic.
For Constables -> Minimum Matriculation / Xth class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt. (AND) Minimum 01 Years technical experience in respective ITI trades.

Examination Fee: Candidates belonging yo General (UR) / OBC category candidates are required to pay exam fee of ₹ 200/- for SI/Overseer; ₹ 100/- for ASI and Constable positions. The fee should be deposited through SBI Bank Challan. The Payment of fee through SBI Challan will be accepted upto 1st May 2017 Only. The fee can also made thorough Online Payment using Net Banking /Credit card / Debit Card etc. There is no fee for SC, ST, Ex-serviceman candidates.

Education Qualification:

Educational and Technical Qualifications:
For Constable (Driver) -> Minimum Matriculation / Xth class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt. Should possess "Transport Vehicle (Heavy)" driving license and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.
For Constable (Mechanic Motor Vehicle) -> Minimum Matriculate or 10th Class pass in 10+2 examination system from a recognized board or equivalent. Possessing 02 years Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by National or State Council for Vocational training or any other recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade OR National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle Trade of three year duration from a recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade.
For all Tradesmen -> Minimum matriculation / Xth class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt. Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
Physical Standards:
(a) Height -> Male - 170 Cms, Female - 157 Cms.
b) Chest -> Unexpended - 80 Cms, Expended - Minimum Exp. 5 Cms. For Female - Not Applicable.
(c) Weight -> For Males and Females - Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards and Govt. instructions.
