BSF Recruitment 2017 Assistant Commandant (15 Vacancies)

Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General Boarder Security Force (BSF) will hold an All Indian Examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandant (Works) and Assistant Commandant (Electrical) Posts in BSF Engg Set up 2016-17 by Direct Recruitment. Eligible candidates apply within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice in Employment News Paper (dated 11 - 17 March 2017 Issue).

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Commandant (Works) -> Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Assistant Commandant (Electrical) -> Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Application Fee: A Demand Draft (DD) / Postal Order for ₹ 400/- as examination fee in favour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/ Post Office at the location or nearby station. However, the fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) & BSF Candidates.

Selection Process: Written Examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Interview and Medical Examination.

How to Apply: Application duly filled up in the given format may be sent to any one of the following addresses nearest to the candidate within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the employment news (i.e. Last date will be 10/04/2017) and candidates belonging to far flung areas be sent within 45 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News Paper dated 11 - 17 March 2017 Issue.

Three recent passport size photographs should be attached to the application. One each photograph to be affixed on the application form and admit card and third one to be kept in record. Two self-addressed envelopes of size of 25 x 12 cms with postal stamp worth Rs. 40/- each should also be attached with the application form. The envelope containing application must be super scribed in bold letters as "APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (WORKS) or ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (ELECTRICAL) IN BSF ENGG SET UP 2016-17".
