Qualification and Experience:
DEPUTY CHIEF FIRE OFFICER/A -> Passed SSC or equivalent examination with Physics & Chemistry. + Passed the Divisional Officer's Course from the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate/ Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India/ London, in a well established whole time fire services organization is essential. B.E. in Fire Engineering. EXPERIENCE - Minimum experience of 2 years not below the rank of Station Officer in a well established whole time fire services organisation is essential.
STATION OFFICER/A -> SSC or equivalent + Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License + certificate of Station Officer's course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London. EXPERIENCE : Minimum experience of 5 years in a cost not below the rank of Sub-Officer in a well established whole time fire services organisation is essential. B.E. in Fire Engineering.
SUB OFFICER/B -> SSC or equivalent plus Sub-Officer's Course from National Fire Service College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre. Persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference. EXPERIENCE - 12 years as Lead in a Fireman OR 15 years as Fireman/ Driver-cum-Operator) in a recognised Civil Industrial Fire Service Station is essential.
LEADING FIREMAN/A -> SSC or equivalent. Experience as a Fireman in a well established Fire Service Organization. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centre and valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference. EXPERIENCE - Minimum experience of 8 years as Fireman/ Driver-cum-Operator in a well established fire services organisation Is essential. Sub Officers Course from National Fire Services College. Persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference. A well established fire services organisation is essential.
FIREMAN/A -> SSC or equivalent. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centres and having valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence will be given preference.
DRIVER-CUM-OPERATOR/ A -> SSC or equivalent with valid Heavy Vehicle driving Licence. Persons having knowledge of Fire Fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguishers etc. will be given preference. EXPERIENCE - Minimum 3 years experience after obtain in a the requisite Qualification. Experience in a Fire Service Organisation/ Defence Service will be preferred.
DRIVER -> Pass in 10th Standard (Matric). Must hold a clean and valid driving licence to drive Light and Heavy vehicle. Ability to read and fill up routine forms in English/Hindi desirable. Possession of a valid driving licence to drive two wheelers. EXPERIENCE - Consolidated experience in driving a Light and Heavy vehicle for at least 3 years. Should possess knowledge of Motor Mechanism.
Application Processing Fee: ₹ 20/- + services tax as applicable. SC/ST, Women, Persons with Disabilities and Ex-servicemen are exempted from Application Processing Fee.
Mode of Selection: The selection process will consist of test in 2 stages. There will be negative marking for te Written Test. The Stages will be as follows:-

50 Multi Choice Questions of one hour duration. Questions will be on Mathematics, Science and General Awareness. |

Advanced Test |
Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Test will be eligible for Advance Test. The syllabus for question paper will be based on the trade / qualification. |
