UPSC CDS 2017 Apply Online for CDS II Exam 2017

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II), 2017 on 19th November, 2017 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy for the Courses commencing in July, 2018, Air Force Academy for the Course commencing in August, 2018 and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the Courses (Men and Women) commencing in October, 2018. The UPSC CDS II Recruitment notification will be available from 9th August 2017.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (II), 2017 [INCLUDING SSC WOMEN (NON-TECHNICAL) COURSE]

Eligible Candidates are required to apply online at UPSC Online Portal Only. The Online registration of UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2017 start from 9th August 2017.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2017 [Including SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course] for admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers' Training Academy Courses. UPSC CDS I 2017 exam scheduled to be held on 5th February 2017. The UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2017 Online registration close on 2nd December 2016.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:

(1) For IMA -> Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st January 1999  only are eligible.
(2) For Indian Naval Academy -> Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1994and not later than 1st January 1999 only are eligible.
(3) For Air Force Academy -> 20 to 24 years as on 1st July 2018 i.e. born not earlier than 02nd January, 1994 and not later than 01st January, 1998 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 02nd January, 1992 and not later than 01st January, 1998) only are eligible. [Note: Candidate below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Marriage is not permitted during training. Married candidates above 25 years of age are eligible to apply but during training period they will neither be provided married accommodation nor can they live out with family.]
(4) For Officers' Training Academy(SSC Course for men) –> Male candidates (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1999 only are eligible.
(5) For Officers' Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) –> Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1999.

Educational Qualifications:

(1) For Indian Military Academy and Officers' Training Academy -> Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
(2) For Indian Naval Academy -> Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
(3) For Air Force Academy -> Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Application Fee: ₹ 200/- for General and OBC Candidates. The fee can be made either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No fee for SC / ST and all Female candidates.

Selection Process: Written Examination (OMR Sheet) and Interview
