Age Limit: 18-35 Years as on closing date of On-line application, however, the upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates.
Emoluments & Other Benefits:
(a) Technical Assistant -> Level 7 ₹ 44900 - 142400/-
(b) Technician 'B' -> Level 3 ₹ 21700 - 69100/-
Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Candidates meeting the Qualification mentioned against each post only need to apply.
(2) Only passed out candidates are eligible to apply. Candidates awaiting for final result need not to apply.
(3) Rounding off marks not permitted.
(4) In case the candidates are awarded Grades/ CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of Grades/ CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the State Board/ University/ Institution from where they have obtained the Diploma/Degree. The bonus of proving the conversion from Grades/ CGPA to percentage of marks would rest with the candidates. Candidates must indicate equivalent percentage in relevant column of on-line application form as per the norms adopted by the State Board/ University/ Institution.
Selection Process: Written Test and Sill Test.
How to Apply: The application for on-line registration will be hosted on the NARL website. Interested and eligible candidates are required to register their applications online on or before 27/11/2017 up to 23:59 Hours. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an On-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID & Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application compulsorily.

Essential Qualifications:
Research Associate (RA) / Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) -> Doctorate (Ph.D) with thesis work in the field Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Space Science. (OR) First Class (60%) in M.E./M.Tech with at least 3 years of research experience and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (07 Posts) -> Post-Graduate degree in Physics/ Atmospheric Physics/ Space Physics/ Meteorology with (a) First Class (60%) marks or equivalent grade
and (b) Qualified in CSIR-UGC NET/ GATE/ JAM/ JEST.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01 Post) -> First Class (60%) in M.E./M. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and qualified in CSIR-UGC NET/ GATE/ JAM/ JEST.
Project Junior Research Fellow (PJRF) -> Post-Graduate degree in Physics/ Atmospheric Physics/Space Physics /Meteorology with (a) First Class (60%) marks or equivalent grade and (b) Qualified in CSIR-UGC NET/ GATE/ JAM/ JEST.

The project involves processing, analysis, and data assimilation of SCATSAT-1 satellite data for improvement in the weather forecast over Indian region.
