UPSC NDA II 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Only unmarried male and female candidates born not earlier than 02 January 2008 and not later than 01 January 2011 are eligible.
Educational Qualification:
- Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
- Air Force, Naval Wings of NDA & Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry): 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Candidates appearing in 12th standard can also apply provided they can submit proof of passing by the prescribed date.
Salary & Benefits
- During training at NDA, cadets receive a fixed stipend of ₹56,100 per month (as per 7th CPC).
- After successful completion of training and commissioning as Lieutenant (Army), Sub-Lieutenant (Navy) or Flying Officer (Air Force), candidates are placed in Pay Level-10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) + Military Service Pay + Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Ration, Medical facilities, Canteen facilities, and other defence perks.
