This position is expected to perform other related duties in conjunction with other employees and departments contributing to the overall team effort, efficient process, and safe working environment. This position includes many essential components necessary for successful and efficient manufacturing, and as such, shares full responsibility for the final product delivered to the customer.
LIST OF POSITION DUTIES:
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Identifies resources needed and coordinates activities.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Effectively applies SMC methodology and enforces project standards.
Minimizes SMC exposure and risk.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Contribute to Work Cell design and implementation for New Product Implementation into Production. Includes design and build of tooling, fixtures, and end of arm tooling where appropriate.
Create work instructions, process set up sheets as needed
Holds regular status meetings with project team.
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.

Profile:
Engineering degree
Must be a self-starter, able to work with no supervision.
Able to work effectively in a team
Good communication skills
Attendance record
Possesses general understanding in the areas of injection molding and medical device assembly
Understands standard computer office tools (PowerPoint, Project, Word, Excel, etc.).
3 to 10 years engineering experience in a high volume manufacturing environment. Injection molding environment is preferred, but not required.
Must be a self-starter, able to work with no supervision.
Able to work effectively in a team
Good communication skills
Attendance record
