Designation : Operation coordinator
Experience : Min 2 years within shipping / logistics industry preferably with Port Agency
Education : Any graduate
Location : Oman
Job Responsibilities :
Inward/Outward Clearance of vessels and/or cargo at all ports air/land/sea based on instructions advised
Liasion with Government and Regulatory Authorities towards effective operational process
Ensure efficient resource management at appointed port location(s).
Keep self updated on competitors activities and industry related information and actively share and update process within work group /team
Support to ensure standards of service procedures are continuously improved maintained e.g. reporting format, contents and frequency.
Service Order-building and margin augmentation
Pro-actively identify new means of controlling Operational OPEX per port site and overall.
Actively promote use & review of IP Log, reporting lessons learned, improvements & suggestions.
Ensure proactive and accurate agency communications e.g. reporting & documentation to principal.
Collection of customer dues related to agency & related activities all outstanding to be maintained within authorized credit limits as applicable from time to time.
Spot review & quality assure Statement of Facts information and data.
Actively contribute in strategy and business development and growth for Ships Agency, Maritime Logistics and allied activities within Oman.
