Age Limit:
(1) Candidates born between 02/01/1981 and 01/01/1999 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
(2) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribes born between 02/01/1976 and 01/01/1999 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
(3) Candidates belong to other Backward Classes born between 02/01/1978 and 01/01/1999 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
(4) A candidate who is an Ex-serviceman or Ex-general Reserve Engineer Force person or a disembodied Territorial Army person, in reckoning the age for his eligibility for appointment, can exclude the period of his service in the defence forces or in the General Reserve Engineer Force or in the Territorial Army, as the case may be, and the period of unemployment on discharge up to a maximum of five years provided he has not completed the age of 50 years.
Educational Qualifications:
(1) A Bachelor's Degree in any subject awarded or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.
(2) K.G.T.E. (Higher) in Typewriting (English) and K.G.T.E. (Higher) in Shorthand (English) or equivalent qualification.
(3) Desirable - Certificate in computer word processing or equivalent.
Selection Process: The selection will be on the basis of Dictation Test and Interview. The Dictation Test comprises Dictation of a passage (preferably a judgment) (about 1100-1200 words) for 10 minutes at varying speeds between 100 and 120 words per minute. The dictation should be transcribed using computer in 2 and Half hours.
Application Fee: ₹ 300/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; No fee for SC / ST / Unemployed physically challenged candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to Apply Online through High Court of Kerala Recruitment Portal from 7th August 2017. The online application process has two parts (Step-I and Step-II). The last date for submission online application (Step-I) is 07/09/2017 and Step-II Online registration close on 26/09/2017.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply only Online on or before 28/10/2016.
Final year/semester law students have to fill their percentage of marks in LLB examination of the previous years/semesters in the "Qualification" part of STEP - II process and to submit the self attested copies of their LLB mark-lists by post or by hand within 45 days from the date of closure of STEP - I and STEP - II process. (i.e. on or before 13/12/2016). The envelope containing the mark lists shall be superscribed "Research Assistant (Temporary) - Application No _______-Copy of marklists" and sent to "The Registrar General, High Court of Kerala, Ernakulam, Kochi -682 031."
